Review: Lean Greens Super Greens Powder

How it all started
I avoided green powders for a long time because I thought my diet was fine. Then I tried spirulina powder, which was meant to be super healthy—but it was awful. Still, I kept trying different greens until I found Lean Greens, one of the top super greens powders in the UK. It actually tasted pretty good, mixed easily, and didn’t make me gag. I was relieved to find one that worked for me.

What’s in Lean Greens?
Lean Greens includes Wheatgrass Powder, Barley Grass Powder, Spirulina Powder, Chlorella Powder, Alfalfa Powder, Spinach Powder, Broccoli Powder, and many more. Altogether there are 18 raw vegetable and green ingredients — hard to get that many in one day from food alone.

They’ve added digestive enzymes to help your gut, green tea extract for antioxidants and other benefits, and a little stevia for sweetness. The powder also contains maltodextrin to improve taste and texture; some people, especially those with IBS, may not tolerate maltodextrin well, but it didn’t bother me. I think the amount is small, so most people should be fine.

Overall, the ingredient list is impressive. Each serving (3 teaspoons) has just 55 kcal, 2.5g of natural sugar, and 0.5g of fibre.

The benefits
We all know we should eat plenty of fruit and veg — at least 5 portions a day, and some say up to 10. Lean Greens makes it easier to reach that goal and offers several benefits:

– Antioxidant-rich: Packed with antioxidants that can help reduce inflammation.
– Digestive support: Enzymes that aid digestion and can cut down on gas and bloating.
– Energy boost: Vitamins, minerals, green tea extract, and Siberian ginseng help lift energy levels.
– Curbs cravings: Giving your body essential nutrients can reduce cravings and make it easier to manage weight.
– Skin health: Extra vitamins support healthier-looking skin.
– Overall health and immunity: While exact vitamin amounts aren’t listed, adding Lean Greens to your diet helps overall health and immune support.

My take
I think Lean Greens is great for anyone who struggles to eat enough vegetables. It’s an easy, convenient way to get greens, especially on busy days when cooking or shopping feels impossible.

Lean Greens has been a lifesaver for me. It mixes well in the shaker bottle that comes with it and I usually drink it first thing in the morning so I don’t forget. The taste is surprisingly pleasant for a green drink — smooth and not gritty — and a squeeze of lemon makes it even nicer.

I like it and think it’s a good investment in your health. It’s not the cheapest option, but if budget isn’t your main concern, it’s worth it. You can use my discount code BEHEALTHYNOW10 for 10% off.

Would I recommend it?
Yes — if you’re not getting enough greens, I’d definitely recommend trying it. Give it at least a month to see the benefits. When you start feeding your body better, you’ll likely notice fewer cravings, better skin, and more energy.
